Things of metal will continue
voyaging between the stars
Tired men will take off
They will violate the quiet moon
and set up their drug-stores there
In this time of the swollen grape
the wine begins its life
between the sea and the Cordilleras
In chile the cherries are dancing
the dark girls are singing
and in the guitars,water is shining
The first wine is pink
is sweet as a tender child
the second wine is strong
strong as sailor's voice
The third wine is a topaz
a popppy and a fire
My house has see and earth
my woman has large eyes
the colour of wide hazelnut
When night comes the sea
cothes itself in white and green
and later in the moonlight the foam
aleeps like a sea going bride.
I don't want to change my planet.

Through this poem,the poet criticises,the people who are engaged in exploration of the space.The poet accuses that the people who have already polluted the earth,try to pollute the space and other planets too.

The moon is an object wich is well known for its chastity and tranquility.They try to pollute the moon too."Things of metal" refer to spacecrafts.These greedy people will compel even to det up drug stores on the moon.Here "drug store" may mean a super market or sometimes it may mean a place where drugs such as L.S.D.,and Marijuwana are sold.The poet says that money-minded people will do anything to earn money.
